Lumo Travel is an app that counts the days you spend in each country. The journal explains the rules behind those days: residence permits, absence limits, the Schengen 90/180 rule and tax residency. Here is how we prepare it.

Official sources only

Every number, date and threshold in an article is checked against an official source: a government portal, the text of the law, a tax authority or an EU website. We list these sources with links at the end of each article. If something has no official source, it does not go into the article.

How articles are written

We use AI tools to research and draft articles. Each article starts from a fact sheet with links to official sources and an English master text. Every language version is then written separately, not translated word for word, and checked by a separate review for accuracy, terminology and natural language. The Lumo Travel team decides what to publish.

Dates and updates

Each article shows its publication date. Immigration and tax rules change, so we update articles when an official source changes and mark open questions where the law is unclear instead of guessing.

Not legal or tax advice

Our articles are general information. Your situation may depend on details we cannot see. Before you travel or file, check your case with the authority that issued your permit or with a qualified adviser.
